Ian established P&L Corporate Communications in May 2007 after a 27 year career as an editor and reporter. With impressive local and international media contacts, he provides clients with significant opportunities to influence the debate. Ian has extensive expertise in corporate transactions, IPOs, communications strategy, and issues management.
Specialising in business and financial markets, Ian was Bureau Chief at Dow Jones, news editor at Reuters and finance editor at Australian Associated Press, with postings in New York and the Canberra press gallery. Between 2000 and April 2007 he led a reporting and editing team at Dow Jones Newswires, developing news and feature articles for subscribers and The Wall Street Journal.
SUE FROST | SENIOR CONSULTANT
Sue was a business journalist for major Australian newspapers including the Sydney Morning Herald and Melbourne Age for more than 16 years. She covered a range of major business stories, initially as a daily reporter and later as a senior feature writer with a focus on media, telecommunications and marketing.
Sue also edited business pages and wrote about debt and derivatives in London for International Financing Review.
JANINE MACDONALD | SENIOR CONSULTANT
Janine MacDonald is a strategic communications expert with broad experience across government, politics, universities and media.
She spent more than two decades in complex, highly-regulated and issues-rich environments including working as a policy adviser to two Government Ministers and as an adviser to the Australian Human Rights Commission.
Janine held senior roles in two leading Australian universities and prior to that worked for leading papers in the Press Gallery in Canberra and in Western Australia.
